Reunion — Dream Meaning
Time, folded — reunions mean ledgers compared with the past's cast, belonging audited, and first languages spoken again.
What it means to dream about reunion
A reunion is time folded: the past's cast reassembled in one room, everyone aged inconsistently. Tradition reads reunions as inventory dreams — the self summoning its former casts (classmates, comrades, the old team) to compare ledgers: who flourished, who is gone, what the dreamer has become in the company that knew the original. The school reunion is the genre's flagship because school was where the comparing was invented.
A reunion that delights is continuity blessed: the past's people still speaking your first language. A reunion gone cold — nobody remembers you, the room is wrong — is belonging's audit: fear that the past has no seat kept for you. Reunions with the dead belong to the visit family and are staged, characteristically, without surprise: in dreamland's etiquette, everyone simply attends.
