Ghost — Dream Meaning
The past, unburied — ghosts mean unfinished business, beloved dead on visits, and eras haunting their own former addresses.
What it means to dream about ghost
A ghost is the past refusing to be past: a person, a guilt or an era that died on paper and continues in the corridor. In dreams, ghosts divide by their business — the beloved dead (the visit family, filed under comfort more often than fear), the stranger in the house (an unacknowledged presence in your life or your history), the ghost that is yourself (time's doubling: the self haunting its own former addresses). A frightening ghost is unfinished business with the volume up: what was buried without ceremony, patrolling its lack of rites.
Ghosts that cannot see you, or pass through rooms of your life unnoticing, are the marginalia variant: you are the haunting in someone else's story, perhaps — or a memory is replaying without a role for the present. Talking with a ghost is the tradition's direct line: the words remembered are treated as cargo, across every culture that dreams.

The psychological view
Psychologists read ghosts as unresolved memory — relationships and guilts the mind has not finished metabolizing, still walking their routes.
DreamDictionary readings draw on traditional folklore and modern dream psychology. They are prompts for reflection, not predictions — the feeling a dream leaves you with is usually its most honest part.
