Alien — Dream Meaning
Otherness, visiting — aliens mean the genuinely foreign: in the world, in a diagnosis, in yourself, with contact graded by curiosity.
What it means to dream about alien
An alien in a dream is the stranger at maximum distance: intelligence that did not grow up in your world, wearing the century's favorite unknown. In dreams it is otherness itself on a visit — the part of life, or of the self, that feels genuinely foreign: a new culture's rules, a diagnosis's vocabulary, a teenager's inner weather. Contact dreams divide by the visitors' conduct: the curious (otherness as fascination — the dreamer's own appetite for the new, projected to the stars), the indifferent (the universe declining to center you, filed as humility's field trip), the abducting (agency's sci-fi branch: taken by forces with better technology and no consent forms).
Being an alien — disguised, passing, homesick for a planet the dream can render in two colors and a feeling — is the misfit family's anthem: belonging's failure at interstellar scale, and its strange comfort: somewhere, the dream insists, your people are normal.

The psychological view
Psychologists read aliens as pure otherness — the mind's portrait of everything foreign, including the parts of the self not yet naturalized.
DreamDictionary readings draw on traditional folklore and modern dream psychology. They are prompts for reflection, not predictions — the feeling a dream leaves you with is usually its most honest part.
